FAQ on SHIPPING
What if I want to ship to an address other than my billing address?
This
is one of the more difficult order processing problems. We realize and
appreciate that some of you may not want your merchandise shipped to your home
or office address or you want to ship as a gift to someone. Consider the
possibility that someone has stolen your credit card information, whether from a
carbon copy at a restaurant or retail store or from an unscrupulous internet
shopping site. They place an order with all the legitimate information they got
about you and they have the merchandise shipped to a blind mail box or an
address they can watch for deliveries. You can be held responsible for the
1st $50 of a fraudulent credit card transaction but we're out the cost of the
merchandise, the shipping and administrative costs involved in doing business
plus any profit we may have made on the transaction.
If you want your order shipped to an address other than the billing address that
shows on your credit card statement, we will need a form with detailed
information, a clear photocopy of the credit card and your signature faxed or
land mailed back to us. Our fax is on a dedicated line and operates 24/7. We are
also a partnership of 2 people and we have one person working in the office, so
your information is safe if you fax it to us. It's just as safe if you mail it
to us, providing the mail doesn't get lost. Click

How long does it take to ship?
Elegant Harlot Creations is not a retail store selling on the Internet. Elegant Harlot Creations is an Internet mail order store and as such we keep a small inventory. This actually saves you money as we don't have to tie up money for rent, insurance, utilities or inventory. Most of our suppliers are local and we can get things out to you in 3-5 days. Some are further away or in Europe or Canada and shipments take a bit longer. One supplier actually makes their latex wear to order and takes 21 days to ship to us and then we first ship to you. Some popular items we keep in inventory, but we carry over 2,000 different items, to offer you the largest selection of any shop on the Internet and we're adding more every week or so. Please keep this in mind when you order and if you absolutely MUST have something quickly, e-mail us that you need it soon, preferably with the date you need it, and be ready to pay the additional shipping and rush order charges.
