FAQ on CLOTHING AND HEELS

What size woman's shoe do I need to order if I'm a male?

Most men will need to order women's shoes 2 sizes larger than their men's size. If you wear a man's 9(US) you'll probably need to order a woman's 11 (US). Almost all women's shoes come in a Med or B width. If you need a wide shoe try to find a vendor that sells wide and/or extra wide widths. We sell 3 forms of a classic patent pump with a 5" spike heel in wide in women's sizes 13, 14 & 15. We've seen a few wides offered in smaller sizes by Sexy Shoe Co but not with a 5" heel. DO some shopping around and get shoes that fit as well as you can, especially if you're planning on walking in 5" heels. They're difficult enough without you having to deal with blisters and corns because you bought a shoe that didn't fit right.

A Note about Shoe Size and Heel Height

If you've never worn a heel higher than 4", or if you've been wearing platforms, consider the heel height when ordering single sole spike heel shoes 5" or higher. MOST people need to order a shoe 1/2 size larger in 5"-5 1/2" heels and a whole size larger in a 6" spike heel. 6" heels are NOT generally a walking heel! Our own Mystery Model wears heels all the time. Her platforms are size 7. In our 5 1/2" spike heel shoes she needs a 7 1/2 and the 6" heels she took a 7 because our 6" single sole spike heels run TRUE TO SIZE, but consider what you're used to wearing when you order fetish heels 5" or higher! You can always stuff a bit of tissue paper in a shoe 1/2 size too big but shoes too small will HURT.

I bought shoes advertised as 5" heels but when I measure them they're only 4-3/4"

Sometimes to save space or just to generalize, Single Sole Spike Heels are advertised to the closest 1/2". Platforms are usually advertised correctly. Some suppliers do sell true 5" or 6" heels such as Centurians and/or Dream Dresser if you want to pay over $100 for a pair and sometimes more! for shoes we sell for under $50, Also, the heel height will usually vary according to the shoe size. A shoe advertised as a 5" heel in a size 6 might have a 4-5/8" heel and the same shoe in an 11 might be a full 5" or more. None of us selling fetish shoes are trying to cheat you out of that fraction of an inch. It's the general look considering the angle of the shoe and  height of the heel offered.

A Note about Platforms

Platform shoes and boots are built on what they call a "Unit". This "Unit" is the sole and heel portion of a platform shoe or boot. ALL "Units" are manufactured in whole sizes ONLY! If you see a platform advertised in 1/2 sizes it's either an outright lie or they MIGHT add some material to the strap portion of the shoe, but don't bet the rent on that! If you see someone wearing platforms and their feet are hanging off the edge of the platform, they either got ripped off thinking they got a 1/2 size or they didn't order a shoe that fits them properly.

What size is one size fits all?

One size will never fit all.   Many of you have already found that out. Generally what we sell that comes in One Size or One Size Fits All will properly fit a Medium plus or minus a little either way. Stretch fabrics tend to leave some more leeway, but they'll also show the bulges more prominently. Make good use of our size chart
